So lately I haven't been able to sleep well at all. Can't get my mind to shut up, so thankfully my doctor gave me Ambien to help me sleep at night. It really does help but I have done some funny things. I take it about a half hour or so before I want to be asleep always forgetting that it only takes about ten minutes to kick in. So of course I'm rarely in bed already when it kicks in.
Well the other night I took it while I was finishing watching one of my shows (Private Practice, it was the big two hour cross over event with Grey's Anatomy... so good!) and all of a sudden everyone had two heads and two noses and two mouths and I thought it was so funny. I kept laughing about it. That's the last thing I remember. The next night my dad asked if I remembered the night before. I told him about that and he then asked who was on David Letterman.... I had no idea. Apparently it was the Jonas Brothers and I kept talking about their eyebrows. Hmmm... Then my mom had to send me to bed, which she has had to do several times because I end up wondering around aimlessly unless she makes sure I get to bed.
The other really funny thing I did was two nights ago I woke up for whatever reason at about 3:30 in the morning and I was on my Facebook account. Not just on the computer or the internet but I had typed in the address and logged into my page.... All while asleep. I really hope I didn't say anything I shouldn't have. I don't think so but it kinda freaked me out a little bit!!!
I'm already prone to sleepwalking and talking but I'm always a little nervous when I take it because I know it can cause it to be worse. So hopefully I'll stay safe. I'd stop taking it but nothing else works.... so until then I might have more funny stories to share. My mom did warn Amy (my friend/Aunt's sister who's going to be my cruise roommie) that while on the cruise do not let me out of the room after taking my meds. Who knows where I'd end up. Probably off on some Pirate Ship or something!!

Ambien Funnies
No pictures yet...
So I haven't really taken any pictures yet of my parents new place since we're still unpacking. But there are some perks to living here...
1. I have a much bigger closet and plenty of room for my shoes and purses.
2. We have a big fenced in yard for the dogs to play in.
3. Almost enough room for all the cars to be parked without having to play musical cars.
4. New ward. Not that I didn't love my last ward but now I'm going to a singles ward and so far so good. I really like the bishop and everyone seems friendly enough. Maybe now I can find myself a life. That might be interesting.
5. Big dining room and table so we can all eat together.
6. Finding things you forgot you had, it's like getting all new stuff!
7. A dishwasher... and not Mom or me.
Anyway, I'm not sure how long I'll stay with my folks but I'm sure glad they are kind enough to let me continue to bum off of them for a little while longer. It makes it kinda hard to want to leave because like I said, I have a really great closet!
