About 2 weeks ago my friend invited me over to her house to make cards and to scrapbook. As most of you probably know I'm not very creative when it comes to stuff like that. But Father's Day was coming up so I thought this would be a great time to make a card. It took me 3 hours to make these two cards but I was and still am so proud of my hard work!
I got to watch the kids for a little bit tonight. After I gave them baths and got them into their jammies we colored and sang. I taught them the Hokey Pokey, Head-shoulders-knees-and-toes and Ring around the Rosies. We were exhausted by the end!! The reason I took pictures was to try to capture Aiden's curly Afro hair. It's getting long and out of control, it's adorable! So these are the pictures we got... 
We decided to go to Lagoon on my birthday this year. It was lots of fun. Here are some of the pictures.... 
It was such a great day to go because it was in the middle of the week so there weren't very many people there. We walked right on to most of the rides. The most we had to wait was about 10 minutes and that was because a kid vomited as they were finishing a ride. It was great!!
Anyway, we rode on the rattlesnake rapids first and we got soaked but it cooled us off for a while. At one point everyone wanted to ride the ferris wheel... everyone but me that is. I hate ferris wheels. They scare me to death but I went on it anyway and the whole ride I was gripping the center pole and had my eyes closed. Not so good!! The only other ride I was a bit hesitant to go on was the Wicked. It's a roller coaster ride that at the beginging shoots you straight up and over the top just to go straight down, after which it had a bunch of twisty turns. It was just the first part I was scared of. After Ellis and Katrina had gone on it once I decided to give it a try. I was so nervous I was shaking and almost in tears as we were buckled in. Katrina said my lip was quivering as we started off... (I'm embarassed by that) but once the ride was over I actually liked it. I thought it was the best ride that day.
To sum it up we had lots of fun. I kept forgetting it was my birthday, which was nice.
